I have just completed my studies at UWC Atlantic College in the UK and will be studying Law at the University of Oxford. This comes after having studied at South Island School and Quarry Bay School whilst in Hong Kong, and Banting and Best Public School and Cresthaven Public School whilst in Toronto, Canada.
I studied Mathematics, Science, English, Spanish, Economics, Information Communication Technology, Media Studies and Physical Education for my International General Certificate of Secondary Education. I sat the ICT exam in May 2009 and Maths and Economics in Nov 2009, the reminder of my exams were taken in May 2010. As some of my IGCSE exams were completed early, I also had the opportunity to push myself by taking the AS Level examination in ICT and Economics.
I have been an active participant in school throughout the years, having taking on various coveted roles. In my four years at QBS, I represented my year in Primary 3, 4 and 5 within the Student Council before stepping down in Primary 6. I continued in this position after entering secondary school, successfully being voted in for both Year 8 and 10. I choose to take up the position of class sports captain in Year 7, 9 and 11 and also joined the Schweitzer House Leadership Team in Y11 upon invitation. In both 2007 and 2008, I was part of a small student group involved in the selection of Vice-Principal on 2 occasions and Deputy Vice Principal.
During my time at UWC Atlantic College, I studied English, Maths and Economics at HL and Spanish, Peace and Conflict and Environmental Systems and Societies at SL under the International Baccalaureate. I was honored to be once again elected to the Student Council on behalf of my student house.
