Spring @AC

Spring has finally come… or it’s about to arrive I think.

The sun is rising earlier, the days are getting longer, sunshine is getting more common and things are actually growing. We even have a whole set of new born lambs on our campus as it is the regeneration season for sheep. 😀
There are some lovely yellow and white flowers growing around campus. To be honest, I’m not sure what they are exactly. Sunflowers? The trees have yet to start growing but I’m hoping they won’t be far behind.

Sadly, the imporoving whether is hard to enjoy when you have lots on your plate, in particular in the last few days. Still, you can’t help feeling joyful at the return of life and sun to this part of the country.

Here are a few photos I took on the way down to the Castle one afternoon.

  1. Yes. They are planted (originally). Yes. They do spread on their own. No. They are not sunflowers. Sunflowers are 150 cm tall. These are daffodils (Narcissus). Why should you know this? Because they are the national flower of Wales.

    Oh yeah.
