[RESULTS] WSDC 2012 – Team Tab by Speaks

There is much debate over whether wins/losses more accurately represent teams than speaker scores. I agree that speaker scores are more variable and depend on the adjudicator, but they also better reflect the margin of victory. A team with lots of narrow wins may arguably be worse than a team that wins all but one debate by a wide margin.

In any instance, the team tab by speaker scores is useful in seeing which teams will top the individual speaker tabs. In the past two years, the top 2 individual speakers have both come from the team with the highest total speaker points.
